THE KAITEN ANGELS COSTUME GALLERY
Costume design is not something I thought would be a major concern of mine in my art. Just as with many other things in life, I have been proven wrong by circumstances. With the work done on the initial characters, and planning beginning on the six novels which make up the core of the storyline behind the Rocket Girls, and now the Kaiten Angels, I found myself in the strange position of having to consider what they would wear while having their adventures. Suddenly, as the brith of Rowan led to the creation of her sisters and the KAuniverse, that process engaged my imagination and that of both friends and students in the creation of their wardrobes. Click on the names below to take you to the galleries for each of the main characters. Check back frequently as I add new designs. As each one has to be coloured by hand, they take time to produce.
