THE FIRST OF THE KAITEN ANGELS

Rowan was the very first of the Kaiten Angels, known in their working stages as the Rocket Girls, and originally, was intended to be the only one. The fun I had in creating her, and the countless questions people asked about her life spurred me onward to give her the siblings who grace the other galleries. Rowan is a Series 5 Picket, equipped with the latest technology for the type. Despite these wondrous abilities, however, she is a bit clumsy, and somewhat accident-prone. Rowan is a confirmed naturist, has trouble relating to children even though she basically likes them, and loves to spend her free time frolicking au-naturel on the beach with her robot companion, Livewire. She spends a lot of time with Virginia, being apprenticed to her at the beginning of the series.

ROWAN 2006 MAKEOVER

Pickets, like any weapon system, machine, or human, need maintenance and rejeuvenation. Rowan has probably, by virtue of being the first of the Angels, gone through a large number of changes, as shown in the early gallery, and here in the first six images, which show her in the early drawn period, before she got her Poser body. It is worth noting that even though all the Pickets started out in Poser with the version 4 body, when you put them side by side in their 'default' states, they each have distinct figures. I have tried to maintain this with the 2006 upgrades, giving Rowan a new hair style, and fixing that cowboy hat on her head so we may avoid any possible confusion with Molly. The hat and hair are in fact imports into Poser provided by a third party source through Kozaburo, if I remember correctly. I have made changes along the way, but at least now the hat and the hair fit. In earlier versions I had to really distort the hat to fit it on, and do a a lot of post work afterwards with the pony tail in Corel Photopaint. The skin is modified from the same texture given to Fiona and Virginia. If you look closely at the new images, you can sense the little blemishes and marks I've added to make her look more realistic. I also tanned her quite a bit, compared to the earlier versions.
